Step 1 - Download MAMP

Step 2 - Download WordPress

Once you've installed MAMP, you can proceed to download WordPress. You can download the latest version of WordPress from their official website (https://wordpress.org/download/). Be sure to download the .zip file.

Step 3 - Install WordPress

After downloading the WordPress .zip file, extract it to your computer. Then, move the extracted folder to the htdocs folder in MAMP.
